How to Join AITP

 

We are looking for individuals who are employed in, or interested in the Information Technology field. Our goal with this message is to spread the word about a new organization, the CVAITP, which is currently being formed in the Concho Valley.

The Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) offers opportunities for Information Technology (IT) leadership and education through partnerships with industry, government and academia. AITP provides quality IT related education, information on relevant IT issues and forums for networking with experienced peers and other IT professionals for nearly 9,000 members. AITP is the Information Technology professional organization of choice for providing leadership opportunities, professional development and personal growth.

Founded in 1951, AITP promotes the effective, responsible management of information technology to the benefit of its members, their employers and society. With approximately 9,000 members throughout the U.S. and Canada, AITP is one of the oldest organizations representing the Information Systems profession and is a source of continuing education for IS professionals and the general public.

What does it cost?
New Members:$140 (includes new member application fee)
Renewal: $125
(A $105 goes to the National AITP organization)

How do I join?
To join our local chapter/AITP, contact the Membership Department or to begin filling out an on-line membership form go to the national AITP website. There are several membership categories to choose from. Our local chapter is Texas - Concho Valley. You also can download various forms in several file formats for printing and mailing.
